Union Minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurates Badnawar-Ujjain National Highway in Madhya Pradesh

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari today inaugurated the Badnawar-Ujjain National Highway in Madhya Pradesh. This National Highway, built at a cost of 1,352 crore rupees in Badnawar of Dhar district, has been constructed under the Bharatmala Project. Mr. Gadkari also performed the Bhoomi Pujan of 10 road projects with a total length of 328 kilometers, worth 5,800 crore rupees.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that five Greenfield Economic Corridors will be built in Madhya Pradesh at a cost of 33,000 crore rupees. Mr. Gadkari stated that a world-class iconic bridge will be constructed on the Narmada River in Omkareshwar. Additionally, six ropeways will also be built at a cost of 1,200 crore rupees. Mr. Gadkari added that infrastructure projects worth 3 lakh crore rupees will be completed in the state within a year.
