Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said today, cent per cent transfer of 25 lakh crore rupees in the accounts of beneficiaries of different welfare schemes of the Centre through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) without the involvement of middlemen is a big achievement in the last nine years. He called upon the youth to go beyond government jobs and take advantage of the increasing employment opportunities through various schemes of the Union Government.
Speaking on the occasion of the Rozgar fair organized by Sashastra Seema Bal Academy at Bairagarh in Bhopal, Mr Tomar said, that as much as we are aware of our rights, we should also be aware of our responsibilities a little more. He said, that when the leadership is visionary, active, dedicated towards the country, and has the spirit to take the countrymen forward, then only good results come.
The Agriculture Minister said, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, through Jan-Dhan accounts, 2.61 lakh crore rupees have been deposited in the accounts of the farmers so far, under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. The technology and Jan Dhan accounts made it happen, added the Minister.
Meanwhile, Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Labour and Employment Bhupendra Yadav was the chief guest of the event at the job fair held at BSF Campus, Indore.
