Union Energy, Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal will be the Chief Guest at the 8th Distribution Utility Meet 2024 in Lucknow today. This event is being organized in collaboration with Ministry of Energy, Government of India, Central Electricity Authority and State Government’s Department of Energy. The program will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The two-day event will discuss innovations in the field of energy and electricity. Earlier Mr. Khattar held a review meeting related to energy and urban development at the Directorate of Local Bodies in Lucknow yesterday, where State Energy and Urban Development Minister AK Sharma was also present. Matters related to the state’s energy sectors and urban development were discussed in the review meeting. Before the review meeting, the Union Minister also inspected the dedicated control center set up to monitor the sanitation system of the state. He appreciated it and said that Uttar Pradesh has got the 9th rank in sanitation system. Mr. Manohar said that I hope that Uttar Pradesh will get first place in the future in terms of cleanliness.
