Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal today launched the toolkit for the 9th edition of Swachh Survekshan in New Delhi. Under the new edition of Swachh Survekshan—Super Swachh League, a competition among the cleanest cities has been introduced. In a statement, the ministry said that the League will be a competition among the cleanest cities and will reflect the shared commitment to cleanliness and continuous innovation.
Speaking at the launch, the Union Minister said that the government’s focus is on improving quality with simplified evaluation parameters that ensure clearer data from Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and maintain full transparency. He added that this approach strengthens the mission’s reputation and drives ongoing progress in urban cleanliness.
