Union Minister Kaushal Kishore alleges Opposition parties running away from discussion on Manipur issue

Union Minister and BJP leader Kaushal Kishore has alleged that the Opposition parties are running away from discussion on the Manipur issue. Talking to Akashwani News, Mr Kishore said the government is ready to discuss the issue both in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. He said, the Opposition parties recently visited Manipur, and they should discuss what they have seen in the state during their visit.
 
Meanwhile, Opposition leaders today met President Droupadi Murmu to seek her intervention in the Manipur issue. They submitted a memorandum on the situation in Manipur. The leaders requested President Murmu’s intervention to establish peace and harmony in the state. Talking to reporters after the meeting, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said, a 21-member delegation of I.N.D.I.A met the President and appraised her about the situation in Manipur.
