Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and Bhutan PM Tshering Tobgay took ride on Green Hydrogen Fuel Cell Bus

Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri and Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay today took a ride on the Green Hydrogen Fuel Cell Bus in New Delhi. With this ride, Mr Puri showcased India’s advancements in Green Hydrogen to the Bhutan Prime Minister. This bus emits no Carbon dioxide or pollutants, only pure water, and represents India’s leadership in decarbonization.

 


India is a global champion in the Green Hydrogen sector and is already deploying 15 Green Hydrogen Fuel Cell buses across the country in metro cities. Mr Puri expressed that India is excited to work with Bhutan to share knowledge and explore opportunities for adopting green hydrogen mobility.

 


Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also lauded the Bhutan Prime Minister’s ride in the Green Hydrogen Fuel Cell Bus. In a social media post, the Prime Minister said that this bus is a part of the country’s efforts to boost sustainability and contribute to a greener future for the coming generations.
