Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Jitan Ram Manjhi took a review meeting on Khadi Mahotsav, 2024 today in New Delhi. The Mahotsav will be organized by the Khadi and Village Industries Commission in October this year for the promotion of Khadi in the country. In the meeting, Mr Manjhi also reviewed the performance in the KVI sector.

He emphasised the need to deepen and broaden the effort through a focused approach on the implementation of schemes. Mr Manjhi also stressed on wider publicity and promotion of Khadi throughout the country to encourage people to wear Khadi cloth and contribute to the creation of employment in rural areas.
