Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, Dr. Virendra Kumar, has said that true development cannot be envisioned unless the person standing at the last mile is financially, socially, and educationally empowered. Addressing the Samajik Nyay Pe Charcha 2025 in New Delhi, the Minister emphasised that the event aims to foster discussions on the upliftment of underprivileged sections of the society, to whom Dr.Ambedkar dreamt of providing equality. 

The Minister stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government has taken several initiatives for the overall development of the society. He also underscored the need to build a nation where progress is based on one’s deeds and not by one’s birth.
