Union Minister of State for Information Dr. L. Murugan criticized the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin for not attending the NITI Aayog meeting. In an interaction with the media in Chennai on Saturday, the Minister said that he might have differences of opinion as a DMK chief, but as a leader of the state, Chief Ministers are given time to voice their opinions and place demands for their respective states. Mr Murugan said that the Chief Minister had missed the opportunity to represent the people who gave the mandate. He added that members of the Opposition always indulged in political drama rather than having the real intention of working for the people.
