Union Science and Technology Minister Dr. JItendra Singh has said the government is conducting trials of four vaccines, including for anthrax and swine fever.

Replying to supplementaries during the Question Hour in Lok Sabha, he said the entire world will be benefited from these trials. The minister said the world has seen the role of India during the COVID period as the country provided vaccines to several countries. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has laid much emphasis on research in the health sector. He informed that 24 various government departments have come together for the the purpose of research to prevent genetic diseases among others.
