Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan informed that 13 thousand 371 vacancies have been filled up in the Central Higher Educational Institutions, CHEIs in a period of 10 months only. In a reply in Lok Sabha today, he said that his ministry has directed all the CHEIs to fill up the vacancies in mission mode, including a special drive for reserved category posts. Mr. Pradhan informed that vacancies arising due to retirement, resignation and additional requirements on account of enhanced students’ strength are being filled up in mission mode.
