Union Minister of State for Railways and Textiles, Darshana Jardosh is on a three day visit to Nagaland. She arrived yesterday and held review meetings with her respective departments in Kohima.

Upon her arrival to State Capital, the Union Minister paid a courtesy call on Governor of Nagaland La Ganesan at Raj Bhavan.
Taking to social media platform 'X' , Jardosh said, she discussed with the Governor on the development of railway and textile and many other important topics related to the state.

The Minister also chaired review meetings with officials of Central Railway, Northeast frontier Railway and Textiles Ministry.
 
During the meeting with railway officials, she reviewed progress of various ongoing Rail Projects in the State and discussed ways to ensure their timely completion. On her meeting with the officials of Textiles Ministry, the MoS discussed about progress and beneficiary feedback of various Central Government schemes and suggested wider propagation of schemes for betterment of Handicrafts, Handloom and Silk in Nagaland.
