Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw virtually inaugurates 4G and 5G connectivity module production line at Manesar, Gurugram

Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw today virtually inaugurated a 4G and 5G connectivity module production line at Manesar, Gurugram. Speaking at the event Mr Vaishnaw said that today's launch is a matter of great pride and it is in line with the government's effort for boosting the nation's Telecom sector. He said, India currently ranks as one of the top three ecosystem for 5G network. 

The Minister added that around twenty five hundred crore rupees have been invested in the Telecom sector, thirty four hundred crore rupees generated in sales. The Minister predicted that investments will boost four thousand crore rupees in the future. He also said that more than 17,000 people have been employed in this sector. He added that many Indian Telecom products have acquired the coveted Six Sigma Certification. Mr. Vaishnaw said that India will soon be a base for global design, innovation and manufacturing. He said that 6G standardization will further boost India's stature in the Telecom sector.
