Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw today flagged off a new special train between Devlali and Danapur in Maharashtra through video conferencing. This Shetkari Samruddhi Special Train will enhance farm-to-consumer connectivity from Devlali to Danapur. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Vaishnaw said the first train will run from Deolali to Danapur. He said that the journey will cover one thousand five hundred kilometers, and farmers will be able to transport crops for only four rupees per kilogram.
