Union Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal today gave away the awards of  55th Youth Parliament Competition 2022-23  to the Schools of Delhi at a function organized at Parliament House Complex. The Running Parliamentary Shield and Trophy for standing first in the competition was awarded to the School of Excellence, Kalkaji, Delhi while 10 schools received merit trophies for meritorious performance.
 
Talking to Akashvani News, Mr. Meghwal said that Youth Parliament Scheme is an important initiative of personality development and skill development among the youth. He said, the scheme acquaints the students with the practices and procedures of Parliament, techniques of discussion and debate, and develops in them the art and skill of effective oratory.
 
Akashvani's correspondent reports that as many as 39 schools of Delhi government and New Delhi Municipal Corporation participated in the competition.
