Union Minister and senior BJP leader Anurag Singh Thakur on 18th August 2023 hits out at the Congress for using alleged remarks against the people by its leader Randeep Singh Surjewala. Talking to reporters at Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, Mr Thakur termed it as unfortunate and said that this reflects the mentality of the Congress party. 
 
In reply to another question on Manipur, Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur said that the government's appeal for maintaining peace in the region is bringing results as people are also coming forward for restoring peace.
