Union Information and Broadcasting and Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Shri Anurag Singh Thakur has alleged that opposition is trying to Polarize the country.

On the sidelines of Meri Mati Mera Desh function in Harbanspur village near Phagwara in Kapurthala district of Punjab, he was responding on a question regarding Udhayanidhi Stalin's remark on Sanatan Dharma.
 
Addressing Meri Mati Mera Desh function, Anurag Singh Thakur said that under this nation wide programme the Mati from nearly 30 crore houses will be collected. He called upon people to become a part of this campaign and pay their homage to freedom fighters as well as soldiers laid down their lives for defending nation after independence. Union Minister of state for Commerce and Industry Shri Som Prakash also spoke on this occasion.
