Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be hoisting the national flag at the Parade Grounds tomorrow at the Hyderabad Liberation Day celebrations. He will receive a salute from the armed forces at the parade. Speaking after reviewing the arrangements, Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy informed the media that the troops of traditional art forms relating to erstwhile Hyderabad will also take place in the parade. He said the family members of the freedom fighters who fought for the liberation of Hyderabad will be honoured. He also said a virtual exhibition has been created by the department of Culture over the Hyderabad Liberation and it will be dedicated to the nation on the occasion. Special postal covers will be released on the freedom fighter Shoyabulla Khan and Girijan fighter Ram ji Gondu on the occasion. Meanwhile, the Telangana state government will be observing the National Integration Day tomorrow marking the accession of erstwhile Hyderabad princely state into India. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will be hoisting the national flag at an official programme.
