Union Home Minister Amit Shah flags off Tiranga Yatra as part of Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign from Ghatlodia, Ahmedabad

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah along with Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today flagged off the Tiranga Yatra from Ghatlodia in Ahmedabad city today. The Yatra was organised as a part of the Meri Mitti Mera Desh campaign.

Addressing on the occasion, Mr Shah said, Meri Mitti Mera Desh campaign aims to commemorate the contribution of our freedom fighters and inculcate the feeling of nationalism among the youths of the country.

Later today, the Union Minister will also lay the foundation stone for two four-lane roads in his native Mansa. He will also lay foundation stone for the modernisation work of two public hospitals in his Loksabha Constituency Gandhinagar. Apart from this, the Minister will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for various development projects of the State government and Gandhinagar Urban Development Authority, Guda in Gandhinagar. In the evening, the Home Minister will attend the convocation ceremony of Teachers' University at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar.
