Finance Secretary Tuhin Kanta Pandey has called for a good grip on inflation for sustainable growth. Mr Pandey made this remark while addressing a post-budget conference on the analysis of tax-related proposals organised by ASSOCHAM in New Delhi today. He said that the Union Budget 2025-26 fosters growth and benefits people. He added that the government has balanced different paradigms in the budget for every sector. The finance secretary also emphasised the need for the fiscal as well as the monetary policy to work together.

Mr. Pandey also asserted that the Bharat Trade NET which was announced during the budget, will connect banks, exporters, and customs, among others into a unified digital platform.
