Union Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan today reiterated that the Government is committed towards solving the problems of farmers.

Addressing the media after the second meeting with the farmers and farmers’ union in New Delhi, Mr Chouhan said that various problems were discussed during the meeting, including the availability of pesticides and seeds along with the overuse of fertilizers.

Speaking to Akashvani, Acharya Ram Gopal Dixit, a member of the farmers’ union – Kisan Unnayan swantntrata ke sangh rakshak, said that talks with the government have been fruitful and the Minister has ensured that all their issues will soon be resolved.
