UAE gears up for International Yoga Day, empowering women through yoga with multiple events across Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is set to witness a wave of yoga enthusiasm centred around the theme ‘Yoga for Women Empowerment’ as the country gears up for International Yoga Day celebrations tomorrow. Multiple events focused on empowering women through yoga are being organized across the Emirates, attracting thousands of participants from diverse nationalities.

 

The Indian mission in Dubai is preparing to welcome around 4,000 people for a rejuvenating yoga session at the iconic World Trade Centre on Saturday. The event promises to be a grand celebration of the ancient Indian practice.      

 

The Consulate of India in Dubai, in collaboration with Ekata Sharjah, is conducting a massive International Day of Yoga event on Sunday. More than 5,000 participants from various nationalities are expected to attend this celebration, which has been held annually in Sharjah since 2014.    

 

The Indian People’s Forum and Samanvaya, in collaboration with CGI Dubai, are joining forces to celebrate International Yoga Day on June 21st and June 22nd, respectively, at Ras Al Khaimah Medical and Health Sciences University.    

 

The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi is coordinating two events – one at ADNEC and another at the iconic Louvre Museum  The Science India Forum and ARYIC are joining forces to conduct an International Yoga Day celebration on Sunday. The event promises to connect a global community of wellness seekers through the power of yoga.

 

The Arab Region Yoga Instructors Council (ARYIC), a collective dedicated to advancing the practice of yoga in underrepresented communities, is actively supporting International Yoga Day events across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, and Oman.

 

As the International Yoga Day celebrations sweep across the UAE, the ancient practice of yoga continues to bring people together, fostering unity, harmony, and well-being within the diverse communities of the country.
