In the Kashmir Valley, two terrorists were killed by a joint team of security forces in a nocturnal gunfight which broke-out at Alshipora hamlet in south Kashmir's Shopian district. According to ADGP Kashmir, the terrorists neutralised in the operation had the association with the banned terror outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT). One of the slain terrorist was involved in the killing of a Kashmiri Pandit Sanjay Sharma, few months back.

Meanwhile, search operation in the area was going on till the reports last came in. Further details are awaited.
