In Maharashtra, two persons were killed and four others severely injured after a portion of ceiling of a building collapsed in Nerul area of Navi Mumbai.

According to officials, a portion of the ceiling of the third-floor of Tulsi Bhawan in Nerul collapsed last night. The ceiling slabs of the first and second floor collapsed due to the impact. Officials informed that ambulance and fire brigade rescue team reached the spot and rushed the injured to DY Patil hospital in Nerul, where two of them were declared dead. Rest of the injured are admitted to the hospital. Further investigation is underway.
