Two out of three US stocks edged higher yesterday ahead of the crucial Federal Reserve policy decision this week.

Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced more than half percent and S&P 500 increased over 0.1 percent. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite fell more than half a per cent.
