Two out of five major Asian indices ended in green today. South Korea’s Kospi was up by 0.43 per cent and China’s Shanghai Composite added 0.20 per cent. Whereas Hong Kong’s Hang Seng slipped more than one and a half per cent, Singapore’s Straits Times Index decreased 0.71 per cent and Japan’s Nekkei lost 0.07 per cent Major European Indices were trading in red as France’s CAC 40 lost 0.94 per cent, Germany’s DAX shed 0.92 per cent and London’s FTSE was trading 0.26 per cent down, when reports last came in.
