Acting tough against anti-national elements, Police in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir have booked two persons under the Public Safety Act (PSA) after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority. The booked persons have been detained and subsequently lodged in District Jail Udhampur.

Police said many cases are registered against these persons and they were involved in disturbance of law & order and subversion and despite their involvement in many FIRs, they did not mend their anti-national & anti-social activities.
