Travel & Tourism Fair: TTF 2023 begins in Patna, Bihar

In Bihar, a two-day long Travel & Tourism Fair: TTF 2023 has begun today in Patna. Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav inaugurated the function which has been first time organised to promote Tourism and allied sectors in the State. Mr Yadav said,  Bihar has leapfrogged in the tourism sector from 3.5 crore footfall of tourists in 2019 to around 5.75 crore in 2023 so far. He said, the State government has a special focus on Religious, Ramayan, Buddha, Jain, Sikh, and other circuits. He informed that the State will soon launch its new Tourism policy with new unique propositions.
 
Representatives and tour operators from 10 States including Bihar in tourism, hospitality, operators, and travel are participating in the programme. Business representatives from three countries Nepal, Srilanka and Bangladesh are also taking part in the programme. Addressing the function Secretary of the Tourism Department Abhay Kumar Singh said Bihar would like to proliferate the Business 2 Business engagement in the Tourism sector. He said,  besides conventional potentials, the State has taken new strides in adventure Sports and Eco-tourism.
