Union Commerce and Industry Minister, Piyush Goyal launched the Trade Connect ePlatform to promote ease of international business for Indian entrepreneurs today in an event in New Delhi. The online platform will be a one-stop medium for information about regulations, Free Trade Agreements, events, partnerships, customs, tariffs and concessions, and an overview of overseas buyers.

    Addressing the event, Mr Goyal said that the Trade Connect ePlatform is a grand collaboration between various ministries, entities and organizations. He mentioned that the platform is futuristic and adds to the accessibility of various information and data. The Minister added that the upcoming versions will be available in Hindi and other official Indian languages as well. He hopes the ePlatform will boost India’s global market share.

    Talking to the media, Mr Goyal said that the Commerce and Industry Ministry is in dialogue with other ministries to ensure a seamless flow of data and make the platform all-encompassing.
