Torrential Rains in Rajasthan: Jaipur Records 7 Inches of Rain, Four Dead in Rain-Related Accidents

In Rajasthan, life has been affected in many districts due to torrential rains since last night. Seven inches of rain have been recorded in Jaipur this morning, which is the highest since 2015. Four people died in rain-related accidents in Jaipur district. Due to continuous rain since last evening, many roads in the city were flooded.

 

 

Rainwater also entered houses and shops. Three people of the same family died due to waterlogging in the basement in the Vishwakarma Industrial Area of Jaipur city, for which Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma issued instructions for immediate assistance. Rs four lakh each per person has been sanctioned from disaster relief and Rs one lakh each from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to the families of the deceased.
