BJP leader and Union minister Anurag Singh Thakur on Monday (15th April 2024) criticised ruling Trinamool Congress saying that they have not given benefits of central schemes to the common people of West Bengal. He was addressing at a public meeting at Kalimpong in support of party’s candidate from Darjeeling Lok sabha seat. Mr Thakur has assured that if BJP comes to power, central government will look into the matter of sports infrastructure development in Darjeeling. Earlier, he had interacted with business community in Siliguri in presence of party leader Raju Bista. Mr Thakur has criticised ruling Trinamool Congress for corruption.
