Three people died and eight others were injured in an accident on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway near Bhorghat today morning.

The accident occurred after a truck going on Mumbai Pune expressway lost control due to brake failure and hit two vehicles, a car and a tempo. The incident took place at around 4 am .

The injured have been admitted to a hospital in Navi Mumbai. Further investigation is underway.
