Union minister for Panchayati Raj, Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh today said that Panchayati Raj institutions can play a crucial role in making India a developed nation by 2047.
Mr. Singh said that developing India by 2047 is the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Panchayati Raj institutions (PRIs) can play a pivotal role in it.
The Union Minister was addressing the inaugural session of a three-day national workshop for elected representatives of Panchayati Raj institutions in Patna.
Mr Singh said PRIs are very instrumental in achieving sustainable development goals.
The three-day workshop is being organized as part of achieving the sustainable goal of social justice and social security by capacity building and enhancement of the Panchayati Raj institutions.
