The Third G20 Sherpas meeting that drafted the Leaders Declaration on key issues of global importance concluded in Hampi, Karnataka today. In the morning, the delegates participated in a Yoga exercise. Thereafter, they were taken on a coracle ride on river Tungabhadra which flows beside the UNESCO World Heritage site. The delegates were shown the monuments of Vijayanagara Empire and distinct rock formations around the river.
On the penultimate day yesterday, the delegates were witness to Hampi at night when all the important places of tourist attraction were illuminated. They gathered beside the river in Purandara Mantapa, or stone enclosure, to watch the sunset and its reflection on river Tungabhadra. They also experienced the flavour of Indian classical dance and music apart from sampling culinary delicacies.
