Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today launched Kashi Tamil Sangamam 3.0 and the KTS Portal in New Delhi. Addressing the occasion, Mr. Pradhan said that this year, Kashi Tamil Sangamam will be celebrated from the 15th to the 24th of next month. He added that the 10-day event will feature 1,200 delegates, artisans, and innovators.
The theme of this year’s event highlights the significant contributions of Sage Agasthyar to the Siddha System of Medicine and classical Tamil literature. In this edition, around one thousand people under five categories will participate in the Kashi Tamil Sangamam. These include students, teachers, farmers and artisans, professionals and small entrepreneurs, women, and researchers. In addition, one batch of 200 Tamil students from all the Central Universities will also participate in the local visits to Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Ayodhya. This will be the first time the participants of KTS 3.0 will experience Mahakumbh and visit Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. Registration for the event is open till the 1st of February at kashitamil.iitm.ac.in.
