Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh will inaugurate the Handloom Conclave ‘Manthan’ in New Delhi on the 28th of January. During the conclave, Mr Singh will also launch Handloom weavers E- Pehchan Portal and Handloom Awards Online module. The conclave aims to serve as a platform for various stakeholders to share best practices, innovations, and strategies for growth in the handloom sector.

The Textile Ministry said, the conclave will be attended by nearly 250 stakeholders and officials from various departments of the Ministry. It added that the event will serve as an interactive workshop for Handloom weavers, manufacturers, retailers, buyers, designers and academicians among others.
