In Telangana, Sampoornata Abhiyan has been launched on Saturday (5th July 2024) in additional aspirational blocks in Bhadradri Kothagudem and Jaishankar Bhupalapally districts. The district authorities exhorted officials from various departments such as Health, Education, and Rural Development to ensure that the aspirational blocks achieve saturation in the six indicators under the Sampoornata Abhiyan. Bhadradri Kothagudem District Collector Jithesh V Patil urged the officials to meet the targets over the next three months through a planned approach and by raising awareness among the people. Jaishankar Bhupalpally District collector Rahul Sharma urged people who are above 30 years of age to undergo medical tests for screening of Diabetes and Hypertension and also pregnant women to register for pre and post natal care besides getting nutritious food.
