In Telangana, a high-level Central team will visit Moranchapally village in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district today. It is one of the villages hit by recent heavy rains and floods in the state. The team is led by Joint Secretary in the Union Home Ministry, Kunal Satyardhi, and comprises senior officials from the departments, including Revenue, Road transport, Jal Shakti, Electricity and Agriculture. The team will also visit flood-affected Bhadrachalam town. Earlier, the team visited affected areas in districts of Warangal and Hanumakonda yesterday to assess the damages caused by heavy rains.
