In Telangana, the group-II examination to be held by Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) is likely to be rescheduled. The Examination is scheduled to be held on 29th and 30th of this month. This was following Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s directions to State Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari to consult all aspects with the TSPSC for rescheduling the exam for ensuring no inconvenience is caused to the lakhs of aspirants. The development took place late in the evening yesterday and IT Minister K Taraka Ramarao tweeted it. He said the Chief Minister also advised the Chief Secretary to ensure proper staggering of the recruitment notifications in the future so that every aspirant gets adequate time to prepare for all eligible examinations.

The Group-II aspirants have been demanding for the past few weeks for rescheduling the examination. Meanwhile, the State High Court has directed the TSPSC to clarify by tomorrow, whether it is considering rescheduling the Group-II examination. The High Court has been moved by several petitioners as the important examination was scheduled when there are 9-10 other important employment notifications that were also issued around the same time and the aspirants are facing difficulty in appearing in all of them almost at the same time.
