The Telangana Government has signed an MoU with Singapore’s Institute of Technical Education (ITE) to strengthen the state’s skill development initiatives.
The delegation from Telangana led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy visited ITE’s campus in Singapore to explore its state-of-the-art skill development programmes and training facilities. An official release stated that the delegation interacted with experts in 20 domains, gaining insights into the programmes that have positioned ITE as a leader in technical education.
During the discussions, the Chief Minister highlighted the state government’s commitment to skilling the youth of the state and invited ITE to collaborate with the Young India Skill University, being established in Hyderabad. IT Minister Sridhar Babu outlined the need for market-aligned training programmes and proposed partnerships in technical education.
An MoU was signed to formalise the collaboration, aimed at sharing expertise and resources. The MoU was signed by the Vice-Chancellor of Young India Skill University in Telangana VLVS Subbarao and ITE’s Deputy Director for Academic and Administrative Services Parvender Singh. An ITE delegation is expected to visit Hyderabad soon to take the partnership ahead.
