Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy welcomed and thanked the historic judgement of the Supreme Court about the classification of Scheduled Castes.

In a statement in the state Assembly, he lauded the long-drawn fight for the classification of Scheduled Castes.

The Chief Minister also said the government will classify SCs into A B C D in tune with the Supreme Court judgement and will take measures to implement the classification of the SCs in the recruitment notifications also.

Almost all political parties in the Assembly including the BJP, CPI and Congress and BRS welcomed the historic judgement.

Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi President Krishna Madiga said they got justice after having fought for 30 years.
