The Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today virtually inaugurated nine medical colleges in different districts of the state. The colleges have been set up in Karimnagar, Kamareddy, Khammam, Jayashankar Bhupalpalli, Kumrambheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Rajanna Sircilla, Vikarabad and Jangaon districts.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said, these new colleges will ensure 10 thousand doctors complete their medical degrees every year. Health and Finance Minister T. Harish Rao said the inauguration of new medical institutions reflected the state's commitment to take healthcare to the doorstep of the common man.
