Telangana CM A Revanth Reddy embarks on a 12-day visit to USA & South Korea to seek industrial investments

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has embarked on a 12-day visit to the United States of America and South Korea to seek industrial investments in the state. The chief minister’s office said in a statement that senior officials of the industries department accompanied him and will return to Hyderabad on 14th of this month.

 

State Industries minister D Sridhar Babu will also leave for the US today and will join the chief minister. It further stated that the visit is aimed at attracting investments for the state during meetings with CEOs and industrialists across various sectors, including IT, healthcare, manufacturing, and research and development. Key investment announcements are anticipated from these engagements. He will also meet the Indian diaspora in New Jersey and engage with business leaders. The agenda includes a breakfast meeting with the CEO of Cognizant and one-on-one sessions with senior leaders from Cigna, Arcesium, Corning, and Zoetis. Mr Reddy will attend a CEO Roundtable lunch hosted by the Consul General of India and hold discussions with executives from various companies. He will be meeting with the World Bank president to explore potential collaborations in Washington DC. He will be visiting Dallas, Texas and is expected to attend a business roundtable hosted by ITServe Alliance and interact with Indian diaspora leaders.

 

In California, Reddy will visit Apple Park, meet with the Apple Manufacturing team and Trinet CEO, and hold discussions with some other groups regarding data centre expansion in Hyderabad. Mr Reddy will leave for South Korea on 11th August, where he will meet with executives from various Pharma houses, car manufacturers and the Korean Federation of Textiles Industry along with visits to the Korean National Sports University and the Han River Project.
