Telangana State Assembly today unanimously passed a resolution stating that injustice meted on the state in the Annual Budget 2024-25 presented yesterday in Parliament. The Assembly has expressed unhappiness and condemned the stated discriminatory approach of the Centre towards Telangana in allocations. The Assembly demanded the Centre to revise the budget allocations and fulfil all assurances it gave to the state. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has proposed the resolution. Replying to the discussion held in the assembly, the Chief Minister demanded that all the assurances given to Telangana in the Andhra Pradesh Re-organisation Act 2014 should be implemented.
