The Telangana state Cabinet has approved the ‘job calendar’ for issuing job recruitment notifications this year to fill vacancies in government departments. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will release the job calendar in the Legislative Assembly later today. Issuing a job calendar every year on the lines of the UPSC was one of the major poll promises made by the Congress during the Assembly elections last year. This will help students know in advance when job notifications will be issued and keep track of the exam dates, completion of the recruitment process and the number of vacancies.
