Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to establish committees to resolve pending issues

Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states have decided to set up committees at three stages as a way forward to resolve all pending issues between the two states. Telangana Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu discussed all pending issues in Hyderabad last evening. Briefing the media later, Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said the meeting discussed all pending issues pertaining to Andhra Pradesh reorganisation and Telangana formation in a cordial atmosphere. He informed that the meeting has decided to form a committee of officials led by Chief Secretaries of the two states and three more senior officials from both sides to look into all pending issues, including division of assets of various institutions listed under Schedule 9 and schedule 10 of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act 2014. If any issue did not arrive at a resolution, they will be referred to a committee of Ministers and even if not resolved then, they will be referred to the Chief Ministers. 
 
The deputy Chief Ministers further said that the two states have also decided to set up a committee of Additional Director General of Police level officials of the two Telugu States to take up a dive against narcotics. Telangana Ministers D Sridhar Babu and Ponnam Prabhakar and Ministers from Andhra Pradesh, K Durgesh, Satya Prasad and BC Janardhan Reddy, Chief Secretaries of the two states and senior officials attended the meeting.
