In Tamil Nadu, the New Justice Party president AC Shanmugam filed the nomination as an NDA candidate from the Vellore Lok Sabha constituency today.
Aiming to strengthen its presence in Tamil Nadu, the BJP earlier this month announced a seat-sharing agreement with the NJP, AMMK, and Ambumani Ramadoss-led PMK for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
