In Tamil Nadu, after sewing up a seat-sharing deal with the BJP, the Amma Makkal Munnettra Kazagam (AMMK) unveiled its candidates for the seven-phased Lok Sabha elections today. Announcing the names of the party’s Lok Sabha candidates, AMMK general secretary TTV Dhinakaran said, the AMMK will contest two seats in the DMK-ruled southern state, as part of a seat-sharing deal with the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Dhinakaran, himself, will contest the Theni Lok Sabha seat, while Senthilnathan will be the NDA’s pick from Trichy.
