World Swahili Language Day

Today is World Swahili Language Day. Swahili language from sub-Saharan Africa is among the 10 most widely spoken languages in the world. More than 200 million people across Tanzania, Kenya, Mozambique, Uganda and along the East coast of Africa speak this language. Swahili is an official language of the African Union as well.
