2 lakh Anganwadi Centres to be upgraded to Saksham Anganwadis under Mission Poshan 2.0, said Union Women and Child Development minister Smriti Irani

Union Women and Child Development minister Smriti Irani informed that 2 lakh Anganwadi Centres will be upgraded to Saksham Anganwadis under Mission Poshan 2.0 for improved delivery of nutrition and Early Childhood Care and Education services. In a written reply in Lok Sabha, the Minister said that 40 thousand rupees per year will be given for this upto 2025-26.
